Southwesterly winds will persist until the arrival of a cold front early this evening. SEvere storms will be possible this afternoon ahead of the front. Northerly flow behind the front will become somewhat variable as weak high pressure slides overhead late in the weekend. Return southerly flow will set up by Tuesday as the high migrates off the carolina coast.
